Sandbox Theatre Program - Beauty & The Beast Jr.

Congratulations to our student cast and families who participated in our Spring 2024 production. Our cast represented students in grades K-8 and worked together seamlessly. We are so proud of your hard work and dedication!

We would like to thank:

• The Sandbox Theater Company for inspiring our students with their creative leadership. 

• Acting Superintendent, Dr. K. Vernonica Smith and the BOE cabinet members for their support and financial partnership. 

• Our Principal, Dr. Melissa White, for your leadership and support of the program. 

• Our Assistant Principal, Kenyetta Hopkins, who worked overtime going above and beyond at every turn to ensure this opportunity could happen to our scholars.

• The Pennington Security and Custodial Staff: We could not do this without you. Thank you for keeping our students safe! A special thank you to security officer, Julia Suarez, who was present at every rehearsal and went above and beyond. 

• The PTA Theater Committee comprised of parent volunteers who worked hard to execute the logistical aspects of the production.

• A special thank you to Meg McInerney, the PTA Arts Chairperson, who worked diligently to launch and oversee this program. We are so grateful for your leadership, Meg!
