Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

• Middle school students: Arrive at 8:10 A.M. & Dismiss at 3:00 P.M.

• Elementary school students: Arrive at 8:30 A.M & Dismiss at 3:00 P.M.

Pre-K - Drop off and pick up directly from classrooms on Fairway Street exit #s 26 and #27.

Parents and caretakers must sign students in upon arrival and out upon dismissal.

Kindergarten - Drop off and pick up directly from classrooms on Fairway Street exit #s 25 and #24

First grade - Drop off and pick up directly from classrooms on Fairway Street #3 and exit #4.

Grades 2, 3, and 4 - enter and exit via Devonia Avenue. Students enter the school

independently. Teachers and students line up outside at dismissal and are released to their

parents or caretakers.

Grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 - enter and exit via Harding Street exit #s 5 and 6 (cafeteria). Students

enter and exit the school independently.

Special Note for Pre-K and Kindergarten Students

Pre-K and Kindergarten Students will be dismissed from school at noon on September 7-9, 2022.

Kindergarten students will be assessed individually in the afternoons on these days. Your teacher

will assign a day and time for you to come in. The first full day of school will be September 11,

2023.

School Uniforms

All students are encouraged but not required to wear school uniforms. The colors are

maroon/burgundy tops and khaki bottoms. Pennington's colors are blue and gold. Students are

encouraged to wear their Pennington spirit wear or school colors every Friday to promote school

pride. Pennington spirit wear can be purchased at www.penningtonpta.com.
